In November, I loaned by boyfriend my credit card in order to pay for the (bait and switch, BTW fee) of 4.95 on order to print the resume he completed on the Live Career site. I immediately cancelled the service afterward, but of course after I called and questioned why I was charged 34.95 on my credit card for six months, they could provide no record of my phone call to cancel. They did refund the fee for the month of the second time I recently cancelled, but I'm out for the five months that I didn't notice the charge.
Scamming financially strapped people looking for work, is a particularly evil practice. I hope the sociopaths who started LiveCareer are eventually held accountable.
