I got a call from the credit union where I have my savings account and they said that this company withdrew $31.96 from my account as some sort of application fee or membership from a loan application I filed online. I have never heard of this company before and said the charges were unauthorized. To top it off the bank was going to charge me $30 to return the charge even though it was unauthorized! Now they want me to close the account I've had for 7 years and if the auto-payments I have for other companies come out after this account is closed I will be charged for those, too! Thanks Avanix for f'ing up my entire account and payment schedules!
