Wow — I'm glad that I didn't pay these guys any money! Although they do have my home phone and email address. Any danger to me in this? My experience sounds similar to the ones reported here. I got a call from someone with an Indian accent claiming that he was conducting a review of expired Microsoft warranties. He logged into my computer (stupid me!) and ran some program and showed me all of the warnings and error messages that indicated infection of the computer. I kept saying, this doesn't sound right to me, no one from Microsoft has ever called me before but he was reassuring (again, stupid me). When he linked me to the Clobal Connect website and I realized that this WASN'T Microsoft calling and I hung up. Totally ruined my day.
