Hi, I applied online to iForce and got in contact with a local iForce branch. I did a walk-in to ask about jobs and at the time I was still making up my mind about some things and I didn't want to commit that day. This was roughly a week or so ago.
I tried contacting the office through the phone this Friday and the person I contacted proceeded to rip my head off on the phone. She was basically telling me I can't apply because I was hesitant and she was afraid I wouldn't commit to a job. She would not listen to me and I got very, very upset at her behavior. I had to hang up because this person wasn't rational and I knew I couldn't talk to her.
I've gotta ask — is it okay for your iForce branch workers to treat a potential client/worker so rudely over the phone or in person? Is it alright for a branch manager or employee to tell a potential client/worker that, "NO, you can't have a job or work with us?" I think I was treated unfairly and frankly felt that whatever business I conducted previously was not the point of the call I was making.
I was not nasty to anybody but I really felt this person that I talked needs to have some further training on how to deal with people because she got off on my bad side and I am generally very patient with people!
I know I'm not going to get an apology from this person but she frankly stepped over a line that I don't think you cross with people. I felt very much discriminated against and that this officer worker's conduct was very unfair and uncalled for...
