As apparently so many here did, I ordered the "free" sample and paid the shipping fee. The product was fine, nothing spectacular, but reasonable. Then I noticed an unauthorized charge of $74.98 on my account. When I called them, they said it was the membership I had agreed to by getting their sample. This membership was not mentioned in the emails I received from them, nor in the packing materials I received with the samples. When I asked for a refund, they said they had shipped me product, so I would have to wait for it to arrive and then send back to them for my refund. So I waited... After it finally arrived, I went into the post office and paid to have it returned (with delivery confirmation - Thank God!). A few days after my return was signed for, still no refund.
I emailed the customer service address listed in my original email (the one they said to send any questions to), and got an auto-reply saying it was a non-reply email address and I would have to call.
So I called this morning, and of course was told they would refund me when they got my return, which they apparently hadn't. Happily, I was able to quote them the entire tracking history to prove they had received it. At that point, I was told my refund would be expedited (with my tracking number forwarded on). I made sure to mention I would dispute this charge with my bank as fraud if I do not have my money back promptly. Hopefully this takes care of it. If not, luckily banks are great at dealing with scam companies.
If you see this before ordering the "free" samples, save yourself the hassle and skip it. If you see this and are needing to send product back, spend the extra buck or so on the delivery confirmation. It may save you your 75 bucks.
