Three seperate occassions my account was debited random amounts... The first was $1, then $21 on the 17.02.12, then $89.00 plus $1 on the 04.04.12 and $88.90 plus $1 on 10.04.12... I had NO idea who these people were, then remembered bidding on a coffe maker back in Feb and didn't follow through with the purchase after they wanted official personal documents and credit cards to be scanned and emailed to them... Thought nothing more of it until i checked my statement... Long story short i called their so called "customer service" to be told that I am paying a PLATINUM membership fee for a service i was NOT aware of and had no idea was operating "on my behalf"!!! The coffe maker NEVER arrived as i suspected because i thought i had not followed through with the purchase because i had not -to my knowledge - finalised anything due to declining to send scanned documents, the "customer service" operator told me that it was all in the terms and conditions and refused to refund the $201... However further investigation reveals that the "terms and conditions" box is already ticked and barely recognisable... This company is a SCAM and should NOT be dealt with under any circumstances... HOW do we get our money back???
