Hello, I want to tell you a story of a company that treats their drivers wrongly and does not back them up at all. If we do anything wrong like, get a ticket, or fail a DOT inspection we get our pay decreased for 90 days while if anyone in the office does anything wrong they do not. Then on top of that, I have complained to my safety department about my dispatcher. He had to call into work because he ended up in jail for spouse abuse. The company did nothing to him even though to me, he reflects on the company like me he did not get in trouble or anything. Then when I got hired on with the company, they told me "their should be no problem getting you home on the weekends and even through the week" but yes its a problem. Their are times I am forced to stay in Quincy, IL while other drivers I talked too told me they get home every weekend. To me that is harassment. Then, I am on meds to control panic attacks because the truck I drive is a coffin sleeper. While I have been their for more than a year, newer drivers get bigger trucks than I. I told our safety department that dispatch is incompetent and he did not like hearing it. Finally the reason why I got my pay decreased was I was pulled over for a road side check. I forgot to draw the line from 4 to 3 and no tickets was sited just a warning and boom. That was enough to get my pay decrease. Also this has not happened to me but their was a note about it. If their are any loads that a pallet of material was off or leaning from the pallet we do not get paid for our work. Even if its not our fault. To me that is just wrong. Accidents do happen. But that is it so far.
