I have had the worst experience trying to get Fios. I have been on the phone with 4 different representatives. No one gives the order number since they can't generate one until the order goes through. AND my order would not go through because they could not verify my social??!! So i'm told i need to pay $125 as security deposit. I'm told I SHOULD be ABLE to get it in 6 months if all my payments are on time. But the representative is not sure?!? Then even after I agree to this, he is unable to process my order because his computer crashed! So i'm suppose to expect a call later the next day. No one calls for 2 days. So i call back with representatives name 'Neil'. But since I don't have an order number i have to go through the whole 9yards again with a new representative. Now again they cannot process my order so I'm told I should expect a call from their supervisor in 15mins. No one calls for a whole day. Just shows how interested they are in getting new customers. When I call again to speak to the manager, the new representative tells me I have reached the west coast office and I need to contact the east coast services to rectify this (since I reside on the east coast). So i tried clarifying with her that my order was being handled by someone on the west coast in the first place so why should I speak with the manager on the east coast. Also if this is the case, why wasn't my order transferred to a representative on the east coast when I first placed the call! And all that, new representative had to say was 'I don't know, I can't help you'.. This is the worst customer service ever ESPECIALLY for a company trying to gain service! And from what I have heard, their installations takes forever. I'm saying NO to verizon! Pathetic!
