2 motorized carts had dead batteries after my resident from an assisted living facility tried to shop. The 3rd cart had a good battery but as she was dismounting the cart, the power handle fell off! I feel this could have been a dangerous situation had she been in the store shopping because she is severely overweight and unable to walk. I feel that the carts should be routinely maintained to avoid future danger.
