I purchased a $3 calling card that had 25 or 24 minutes on it. When I tried to make a call an answering machine picked up. I hung up the phone, did not leave a message and tried again a few minutes later, the system indicated that the card expired. I called customer service and was told because I didn't hang up before the answering machine pick-up the card has expired and that they would not issue me a refund nor would I get the remaining minutes that should have been left on the card. I was told I would have to purchase ANOTHER calling card which is what they always advise their customers to do when this happens.
If this cannot be resolved with a manager, I will be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and do what I can to spread the word about this company's deceptive business practices.
