I received an email just like everyone else from a Jennete Guerro telling me that I was a candidate for a job I had applied to on Craigslist. I went ahead and googled the company, and I found this website (scambook) detailing exactly what happened to me from other people. I am seriously upset about this whole situation and I'm not sure what my next step should be but I did cancel the stupid credit report thing I had to sign up for. I just hope nothing happens with my social security number or my credit card. The number to cancel is 1-877-297-7790. Here's the email I received from "Jennette":

I am Jennette, the hiring staffing assistant. I got your resume today,
and I am excited to let you know that I think you are an awesome candidate.

I would like to move you forward in the application process now!
