These people asked me how much I owed & how much I paid monthly to creditors. They then told me to stop paying my creditors and instead to send those funds to them and gave me a phone # to call [them] if/when any of my creditors called me directly since they had contacted all of my creditors and told them to only contact Credit Solutions, not me. My payments had been on-time and more than the minimum payments [but—when I retired, my fixed income left me virtually penniless after paying my monthly creditor bills] so I chose to keep my credit score at least average by allowing Credit Solutions to handle my debts. Soon thereafter every one of my creditors began calling me with most of them offering handsome 'deals' to lower my debt and/or lower my interest rates; to be in compliance with Credit Solutions "stated deal", I phoned them and faxed them on every creditor's offers. After 4 months of follow up debt collection letters and phone calls with no assistance by Credit Solutions [who my creditors said never contacted them] would not discuss the details of just how they were helping me; I spoke with an attorney who said that my only hope to dismiss creditor lawsuits was to file bankruptcy [CH. 7] so I paid her to file that for me. I began to consider a CH. 13 repayment plan since these creditors deserved my repaying what debts I owed. I now pay $985.00 to the CH. 13 trustee every month until January [5 years total] all directly due to the false advertising, coercion, and lies of Credit Solutions Reps. That $2357.52 must be totally refunded in light of their deceptive, fraudulent modes of extortion/theft.
