We were lied to. We were told that we would have 3 years to pay off all creditors and they would settle the debts so we would only have to pay back 40%. We were told to save back $641 a month and when enough is saved back, they would issue a payoff check to the creditor.
Well, the creditors all wanted their money before the amount could be saved up. They settled to where we paid 75% of the debt not 40%. All of the creditors want their money NOW, they wont wait the 3 years that we were told we would have to save up.
We were also told that they would get the penalties, interest rate and fees dropped.
None of that was done.
They ruined our credit. Our credit was ok before we started the program and now it is aweful because they told us to stop making payments so they could settle the debts. No bank will touch us and we may lose ALL we have because of credit solutions.
