This elaborate scam starts with a Craig's list ad looking for a "Mystery Shopper" then they send you a nice Contrator's Agreement with a Cashiers check anywhere from 1,500.00 dollars to 4,100.00 which was what my check was for. Stating that this money should cover 10- 15 assignments in various retail establishments. Starting with my first assignment to Wal-Mart. Then he asked to send monies through the Western Union that we were going to catch these culprits that were ripping off the elderly when they ask for a refund. So we were setting up a fictitious transaction. That we would come back for the next day. I was stupid I know... But it dawned on me and I cancelled the transaction. So I 'm only out the non-refundable service fee. Lesson learned, now I have to file the police report, and fix my relations with my Banker. Please don't be as gullible as me. Anything that looks to good to be true generally is...
