I received a pop-up ad telling me that my computer had a horrible virus. This ad offered to eliminate the virus and protect my computer for a year. I tried everything I could to eliminate that ad but it locked my computer up. Finally in desperation, I paid for the virus protection program and was able to use my computer again. This ad also said that it was from microsoft vista. My computer has not run right since then, programs missing, out of order, redirected all the time.
