I received a pop-up ad telling me that my computer had a horrible virus. This ad offered to eliminate the virus and protect my computer for a year. I tried everything I could to eliminate that ad but it locked my computer up. Finally in desperation, I paid for the virus protection program and was able to use my computer again. My computer has not run right since then, have lost many programs, files all out of order, web sites are redirected all the time. They also reprosented themselves as MicroSoft Vista.
