I was initially contacted by this number (which was given to many more companies and is resulting in my call with Coastal Readers Service who claims I owe $1109 for 4 magazines) and I was supposed to be getting free grocery coupons for $1,000 or something and I don't know why I was stupid enough to give my information to them but I did and it ended up costing $29 to pay for god knows what. I was in the hospital in Oct, Nov and part of Dec so luckily (I guess) my bank closed itself down and I will never know how much they took from me. My father called them and cancelled my account and they were supposed to credit me $29 but like I said, my bank account closed down. I'm sure between Leisure Plus, Coastal Reader Service and a few other companies that they're affiliated with I was charged for even more magazines and coupons I'll never get.
I wish I would've been smart enough to hang up because as soon as you give any time to these people (I was trying to be nice and do their survey) they throw you on an automated line, get your account info and ROB YOU.
I will never be nice and help someone try to fill their quota again.
