Continued harassment a year after I cancelled. Now sending me an "Early Warning Notice" of collection

In Feb., I called Gevalia and told them that the only person who drank coffee had broken his hip and was in the hospital so don't send me any more coffee.

In Aug. Gevalia sent me a notice about the auto-delivery program. I immediately replied that my friend was now in a nursing home and to cancel the account.

In Sept., I received a box of Gevalia. I called and offered to ship back the coffee. Person on phone said not to bother and she would take care of closing my account.

Ho, ho, ho. Several more dunning letters ensued. I called after each and they generally ended with: "I'll contact accounting and have this cleared up."

On 2/20 I e-mailed and told Gevalia I didn't order the coffee, I didn't want the coffee, and I won't pay for the coffee.

Three (3) minutes later I received a reply to my e-mail stating they would respond to my e-mail within one week.

Today, 3/19, I received an "EARLY WARNING NOTICE" detailing their intent to send my account to the North Shore Agency for collection.

They claim I owe them $30.87. I am more than willing to join a class-action suit against these people and am willing to donate $100.00 to the cause.

I'm sending copies all all e-mails to the collection agency and if I hear from them again, I'm contacting a lawyer. This company must be stopped from continuing these practices.
