We contacted www.modify.com. We later found out it was CC Brown Law LLC aka www.lawyerplatform.com. After paying the initial $497.00 dollars, we became suspicious when I received a do-it yourself loan modifacation package through my email. I contacted both the Nevada and Utah BBB to obtain information on this company. I found out they are running what looks to be several scam businesses. They have multiple websites all with different numbers.
We were given credit by our bank and now the company is fighting us. We never signed a contract. I did not complete the loan modification email. Now they are claiming we owe them addtional money for services provided. They have done nothing for us. They don't have a way to get our lender info. How could they have worked? Be aware of all Loan Modification notices. If it sounds too good to be true... It probably is a scam. Don't ever pay and give your account numbers up front. We are lucky because we bank with a military bank. Chances are we may recover our funds.
