Brian Filiault is nothing but a liar and cheat who will say what you want to hear, manipulate you, never answer a question directly, never accept responsibility for his crew’s chronic and costly mistakes, and do whatever he needs to do to defraud you of your money in exchange for sub-standard work, no work at all, or, in our case, both. I contracted Mr. Filiault for his services in October and, after one full year, the house was framed, roofed, and the windows were, installed – that’s it! He simply stopped working in April after we trustingly paid him the bulk of our new construction loan with promises that the remainder of the house would be completed in a timely manner. (When we signed the contract, we were told we would be in the house by May then July, then August, then October). We have since terminated Mr. Filiault for breach of contract, but now realize that we were the victims of a well-planned and thought-out scam. Don’t make the same mistake we did. Avoid dealing with this thing at all costs or you will live to regret it.
