My daughter, Jennifer, worked for Home Depot exactly 15 years. During her tenure a number of customers sent letters or made phone calls to commend her. She is a hard working, conscientious, and well behaved person. The fact that she worked for Home Depot for 15 years shows that she had a good record with the company.
On her 15th anniversary with Home Depot she was fired. Had she been allowed to work just one more day she would have been eligible for a bonus as well as increased vacation benefits. Obviously, the company's motive in firing her on that particular day was in order to avoid paying these increased benefits.
I, myself have been retired for about 8 years. During my career I worked for several companies, both large and small. I never ran into a management so heartless and sneaky as Home Depot.
