Contrary to other complaints, it is $29.95 twice a month. Shows up on your card as "chkcardcarvinchecks cosalt lacitutus"
I called my bank and they could not reverse it. So I called them directly, sounds like India. I assumed they get 100 angry calls an hour so I was sweet as pie. It took 20 minutes to spell my full name and e-mail out like "T" as in two, "H" as in him, "I" as in ice, "S" as in Safe... I think being friendly got her to reimburse and cancel. It doesn't sound by the complaints they reimburse often, so I was angry and inconvenienced but it all turned out ok.
No e-mail was ever sent to verify my account, nor was one received to confirm transaction.
What you and I didn't see from the website: "Evaluate our service for the special price of $2.95 for a single report; you then will have access to all the members’ information and perks however limited to only one search at this low price. If satisfied, after 7 days the trial becomes a deluxe membership, which allows the customer to perform 4 searches a month for two easy payments of $29.95 per month. Our fees will display as “Car Report” on your bank statement. Simply call 1 (888) 613-1485 for assistance."
