I applied for a loan for £3000 as i was about to get married on 25th of march (which unfortunately is not happening on this day). I received a call from this # 01614082183 telling me that my loan was approved but some how i was not convinced as he said that there is nothing i got to do except for confirming my personal details. He also informed me that a rep from his office will be visiting me and take my passport copy and home address or which i was ok.
Later he ring me asking to pay £100 in advance as a processing fee and he promised that the amount will be deposited as soon as i pay the fee. I was a bit greedy and with out asking for any more details i said ok to it. But when i spoke to my fiancee about the loan he said that could be a scam so i ignored it for couple of days and was trying to get a loan in a different company.
He called me after a week asking about the loan and ia sked him if it was okay to borrow £6000 he said he can give me upto £8000 depending on my credit and the proof i have, so i requested for a loan of £6000. He said that the money will be in my account as soon as i pay a min of £200 as it was double the money that i asked before. I was happy to get that and was ready to pay the amount.
The real story starts here. He asked me to but a UKASH voucher for £200. This was the first time i ever heard about this voucher. I happened to go and buy this voucher and gave him the numbers. The following day he ring me saying that i need to speak to his loan officer who informs me that they are ready to deposit the money only when i give them an amount of £300 as i did not have a guranteer. It was my mistake that i did not check with anybody about this and was only thinking about my wedding and bought the vouchers and given the person the numbers. He said that the sae day the money will be in my account about 6 in the evening. I waited till 9 in the morning hoping to get my oney but in vain there was nothing.
I ring the guy back asking for the money he said that they had a problem with the portal and it will take another 1hr. I started realising that something was going wrong i ring them after 2hrs and he gives me the same reason.
After about 30mins i get a call from this person who said that i have to buy some a voucher of about £250 as they cannot deposit £6000 and can only deposit £7000. I was not read to pay and was very reluctant about this payment and told him that i want to cancel the process and asked him to give my money back and then guess what my call was disconnected.
Tried to reach them again and the sae thing happens. I had to hide my number to reach these people and when i reach them nobody wants to speak to me and said that they have no time to speak to me and were insisting me to buy the vouchers and call them.
I was in tears as the date was near and i had no time to look for another loan. I wrote to the managing director for the company for which he never responded.
If there is any company that really exists with this nae i would like to sue them for ruining my wedding.
