Received e-mail from lady named Barbara Moore. Very professional
thru and thru. Ask me to cash checks and send funds western Union to London, England. I checked out website which was as she said. She did not ask for SS# or Bank account #. I checked thru list of possible scams... Nothing there
no complaints with BBB. She described how they resale medical equiptment.
I received 2 large checks via post office. I deposited at my bank which
has policy of holding checkss and money can be withdrawn next day. I returned March 8 to transfer funds via Western Union. Teller told me checks were cleared. I sent funds to London England.
This morning I was notified by bank checks were returned non-sufficient funds
and with my overdraft protection the full amount $3,766 was charged to my
credit card.
These crooks are getting smarter and smarter. I hope reporting this will save
someone else getting scammed. I live in the Brookville-Englewood area.
