What I thought of zbiddy.com
This site may have had something to offer back in 2011 but today 3 they offer very little and what they do offer is impossible to win. You have to await until the clock hit 1 second which it never will because someone else my have set a EZ-buddy auto bid which always insures that your bid is made prior to the final second. So if you see other bidders have set the EZ-buddy auto bid you will just watch the price go up. People are being charged as much as 60 cents a bid and you have to take into account that you will pay the final amount of the bid price, plus shipping and now add on what you spent every time you pushed the botton. Now think of how much zbiddy makes on one item. The item goes up for 1 cent. Every time a bid is placed the price only moves 1 cent. Once the clock hits 15 seconds the final bidding starts. Every time someone bids the clock goes back yo 15 seconds. So once the clock hits 15 seconds on an item on average goes up in price by $10 per hour which, at price increments of 1 cent a bid this means 1000 bids are being placed an hour!!! Bidders are spending on average 30 cents a bid which means zbiddy is bringing in $300 per hour per item. Wow nice return on a $25 gift card. Most items are being bid on for over 2 hours once the 15 second bidding starts and some items such as a $150 Nintendo are being bid on for 10 hours. The winner here is zbiddy.in addition Zbiddy keeps a very low inventory of real items to bid on. Most of what they post is discount packages to buy more bids or a gift card to Restaurants.com which is a discount site where you buy a gift card for lets say $50 and you pick one of the sites restaurants you then have to spend $100 at the restaurant to get your $50 of (you will get more bids when you buy one of these cards). But basically the bids are useless unless you want a spy flash light, or to say up for days on end trying to win an Nintendo or ipad. I have been trying for seveal days now to use up my bids and win an item besides the restaurant.com cards, no luck. One more thing this whole thing started because my husband wanted to check out the free trial. Well apparently when he registered the box to purchase a $99.00 bidding package is pre-checked so he got charged. We called right away to get are money back and zbiddy said no. We quickly realized that there was nothing on the site that we wanted so I started to play around to see what this is all about.in Short WE GOT SCAMMED. We paid $99.00 for a random chance to win and item that we do not want. Zbiddy is like playing an penny slot. They claim they are better the ebay they are not selling anything except bids. SCAM! Scam! Scam! When they say they sold an item for 80% off market value they are not taking into account the hundreds of bids the buyer placed and paid for. Even buying a magazine is a scam you may get one in just a few bids but check out the shipping it will run between $14-$19 the bid price. So before you place a bid on something check you the shipping cost. I basically have come to the conclusion that they got me, I just hope I can bring to light what this site is about and the consumer can make their one educated decision.
The Saga continues this evening I tried to use one of the Restaurant.com certificates and when we got to the restaurant there was a sign on the door stating that they now longer accept Restaurant.com certificates. We have now hit the point of being very angry. This company has taken our hard earned money and in addition wasted my gas and free time (which is hard to come by these days).
