Consumer Report

My computer went down so I'm redoing it. I was looking for a iPad for my son which is in collage for Christmas, so when I was checking my emals I saw one from zBiddy penny auctions and it said cheap iPads and the last sold for $76. So I cliked on it and it said free to join just give your name and adress and then they wanted to knowmy credit card in formation which I thought the name and adress was for where to send the item if you win and the credit card infomation for payment if you win. Then they wanted me to get a password. Then it said I could start bidding but I knew you had to buy bids and I didn't tell them how many bids I wanted to buy. So I went to the next step bidding and when I went to that part it had at the top of the page it had my name and address and it had on there where thay took out $60 out of my account in about 2minutes with out my knowlege for buying 100 bids. But honestly I never told them how many bids nor did they tell me about paying $60. They just took it apoun theirself to use my card and the bank will not put it back in my account. I read some other complaints on them and one person said they do that to everybody when they join but they tell them it's free to join untill they see that $60 is taken out of thier account, but zBiddy will say it was for the 100 bids you bought but you didn't tell them any to buy. Thats just their way of getting your money, tell you it's free but charge you for bids automaticly then it's to late you have been had. Now when you bid on an item and you are the high bidder and it comes down to the end like 2or3 seconds and somebody bids well they don't win. It goes back to 12seconds left or if I bid with 2seconds left and I'm the high bidder I won't win because it will go back to 12seconds left.in that case you would run out of bids and you loose unless you buy more bids and you still might not win because you run out of bids again. To win you must be the highest bidder without being out bid or it starts over at 12seconds and in that case it could take up to 5 hours or longer to get a winner. When that happens zBiddy gets $60 from everybody that bids plus all the extra bids that were bought and also the winning price. So thats a hunk of change and just about every time they get alot more than retail for the item and they are making a killing off this scam. Can you amagin how many people like myself pay $60 and don't even know it. I should have caught it when they said credit card payment only (dummy me, the lights on but nobody is home or it should have thrown up a red flag). If anyway possible to try to get my $60 back because you don't know about it till it happens or it's to late.—Thanks for your help in this matter and GOD BLESS.
