My husband's business received a statement from ACA RECOVERY for $ 774.95 for advertisement we never ordered. When I called, a Ms Kelly Gray answered and said that it had been authorized in 2010 and that we owed that money to Local US Pages. I had never heard that name before and told her that I was going to file a complaint with the State Attorney General in NJ. Her response: "We will see you in court!" and hung up!
Last year we succesfully fought another company, Yellow Pages Online, by filing a complaint. After several months we received a letter from the State Attorney General in NY that they had closed down that company.in our experience the BBB did not do anything, but I urge you to write the State Attorney General.
