Worst Customer Service - microsoft keyboard mouse bundle

I bought it from Softech Infosys, Kollam, kerala, india
and after 2 moths when i went for the warranty with bill they told they have nothing to do with the warranty as microsoft is not giving products any warranty from 2012 onward, But my friend who bought it from other place got his microsft product replaced quickly with no issues.

Whom should i beleve, and after some serious enquiry i learned that warranty is available but i dont know who approch..
