Consumer Report

Companies that has Class Action taken up against them should be taken off internet or Facebook advertising to prevent more people from falling into the scams/schemes. Facebook and other media/internet companies accepting advertising dollars should be made accountable when peddling scams to the public!!!
In my case, Revitaderm offered trial pack, with very fine print that automatic deductions from credit card will be made every month of approx $69.95. There is not noticeable print to agree to the deductions before hitting SEND/SUBMIT button. That was the explanation that it is all legit business.
My sample pack did not arrive, but deduction were made anyway. After a long convoluted way of tracing the phone contact and email to log the complaint to the company, a response was received to explain that I had agreed when hit "SEND/SUBMIT" button. Counter response was that even though I had hit SEND without realising what I had agreed to, I object to any deductions made to my credit card without having received the samples as per orders. I demanded a response within 24 hrs, and my refund and threaten to take this to consumer affairs should I not receive a satisfactory response. A response was given to inform that no further deductions will be made, however no refund was made and no samples ever did arrive. Is there a Class Action in Australia against them? In the US, Angela Edwards, has filed a Class Action again Hydroxatone, for similar scams (is it all the same company?) http://www.consumeraffairs.com/health/hydroxatone.html
