My building (The Ribbon Mill apartments in Manchester CT) recently switched out our old washers and dryers for Hercules machines. I was at first excited that we now had front loading machines, however I am extremely unhappy with the way that the washers do not rinse out the previous users detergent. I am extremely allergic to fragrance and use unscented dye free detergent. Obviously not everyone else does, and I can't exactly ask other people to switch to an unscented detergent.
Even when I run a wash through several cycles, which is not ideal since it costs a great deal and I'm holding up the machines and other people can not use them. Anyway even when I run a wash through several times, the fragrance from other peoples detergent remains in my clothes and bedding. Due to health problems it is extremely difficult for me to load up my laundry and drive to a laundromat. Please do something to fix this problem.
