Heard a commercial on local radio station about a government stimulus package for $2,000 in free groceries. Called the number and was given instructions as to how it worked then transferred to someone else who told me the same information (both persons obviously were reading from a script). Don't know why I fell for it. The lady sounded so sincere and compassionate about people struggling with finances. Got charged $19.95 and am now getting other phone calls wanting me to sign up for all kinds of things. I was not told anything about coupons or having to print them off. They also told me I would receive a $50 gas card after sending in the rebate form they would send me. They did not tell me that I had to pay a $5 registration fee to activate the card or that minimum of $150 in gift cards was required in order to receive the $25 rebate for two consecutive months.
