GreenDOT discriminates!!! I bought a GreenDOT card in November. I had my direct deposit set up to my account, all was fine. On March 1st 2011 I called to see what my balance was and I learned my account was terminated. The reason was that I share my address and phone number (I live in an apartment complex that has one main phone line and extensions to the apartments) they call it "sharing my personal information" and they deemed my account "compromised" and they summarily terminated every one who had an account where I live. So, out of the 350 people that live here, they say only one person can have a GreenDOT card. Discrimination, don't you think? I have filed a complaint with the BBB. Still waiting. Oh and my money is still lost in cyber space somewhere as it was never returned to issuer.
