Originally my book was published with Trafford Publishing in B.C.in 2004. I would receive royalties of approximately $35 every quarter until they were bought out by Authorhouse in 2009. The royalties totally stopped, and in Feb. Of 2011 I received a check for $36 which was made out incorrectly. I spoke to someone at Trafford and they told me to return it. They apologized for the delay in payment because this was an "overlooked" amount that got lost in the transition of the company sale. They told me there had been no book sales since 2009. I returned the check as directed and waited for a check to be made out correctly. When it didn't come, I called numerous times and was told that they had no record of a check for royalties being issued at all. Last week I received a tax statement from Trafford for $36 in royalties paid to me in 2011. Guess what? They still say they have no record of this check. I have no way of knowing how many books have been sold since 2009 because most of the books are sold through Amazon Advantage and I can't get any contact information for them. I know I'm being scammed and am terminating my relationship with Trafford. I would like to join the class action lawsuit group.
