Was contacted about a loan that I had applied for. Laurie Haughton said that I had been approved for the loan. She sent me paperwork that looked legal. I sent the paperwork back to her and then she told me to send the security deposit through western union, which would returned to me that following monday. No refund and no money either. I am angry, hurt, and disgusted. There needs to be something done about these people. There are I have discovered a ton of phony companies advertising on the internet. The consumer has no way of knowing this. So now to protect myself as best I can, I go the the BBB. If they are not listed with them, then I am not dealing with them.
