First off whoever the employees are that are giving rebuttals stating that they dont send off your taxes without your W2s is a LIE. Speak for yourself because the store in Arlington, TX sure did send mine off. I was told over and over that I would have the opportunity to give my W2s before they submit my documents, THEY SWORE THEY COULDNT SEND THEM ANY WAY WITHOUT THEM!!!
I went in a little before Christmas for the loan I received $350 and I let my tax preparer know that the check stub he had was not my last one. He stated "oh its ok its ok its ok it's a loan based off of an estimate, we cant send it off without your W2 any way". I was ok left it at that, without going into detail. I took my check and left...
So Jan 15 comes up and for some strange reason I started to Google instant tax and noticed all of the horrible reviews. Had I read the reviews before I went, they definitely wouldnt have got my business! Because it's all true! So because I saw all of this online I immediately went to the tax office on MLK day to tell them not send them because I saw horrible reviews online about them sending them with fake w2s and that they just enter the number you gave and upload the numbers on a blank W2. I told them that if they do file them early to hold off on mine at least one week. They said "ok, we cant send it to the IRS without your W2 anyway"
LONG STORY SHORT they sent them off on the 17th of Jan and I basically wasted my time, breath, and my gas going to the office expressing my concerns regarding MY MONEY! You would think as my "Tax Preparer" they would have my best interest at heart. They screwed my taxes up, I was charged $600 in fees and they had to amend my taxes so I have to wait 8-12 weeks for the rest of my money. I feel so violated by these people. I even hate I gave them my personal information.By the way when I picked up my 1st check it was less than what they stated I would be getting!
