Cydcor, Com Quest Marketing, Chris Auwarter
Insane ripoff, worst mistake of my life thus fa

Having read a previous complaint regarding Chris Auwarter (his last name was spelled incorrectly, however the person nailed him on his horrible personality - right on!!! He needs to realize we know whats on his computer screeen the sleazeball!) and seeing that this was bull that he pulled in Georgia before moving to New York where he did indeed spread his bulls*it around the big apple, i knew i had to write something of my own. If i misspell or am grammatically incorrect, i apologize.

I worked for dear old Chris in his office com Quest marketing in White Plains. First of all, i was later informed that he hired me because i was young and female. He likes eye candy. He is an overbearing boss, he plays favorites terribly, and he does not care about the mistreatment of females in his office. One girl was groped by another coworker and when Mr. Auwarter found out about it he did nothing since it was "he said she said" although another employee previously "quit" (you never know cuz he claims to fire people who actually quit and vice versa so you never know) because of the same male employee. Pathetic.

His golden boys were practically enveloped by the guy, with him calling them all the time forcing himself upon them socially, even flirting with their girlfriends. He even commented during a "new guy" metting after one male employee compared our "buisness" to a one night stand, that he never had a one night stand and wouldnt that be cool.

I am totally not interested in his sex life and I found many of his comments to be inappropriate. Yes, it is typical male bulls*it but he was the manager/owner and he should have held himself to a higher standard, especially in the office. He would get angry if you didn't go to team night and he actually once threw a message board across the room during a leaders meeting because he was upset at the leaders for something.

Is this how a manager is supposed to conduct himself? He dated his staff, including one receptionist, which was something that i was under the impression was something Cydcor frowned upon. He had mandatory saturday meetings, something i was not informed about, and he actually seemed frightened every time his promoting manager came to visit (Brandie is one of the only reasons i stayed with the company, she is pretty cool). They claimed over and over that they were not a cult, yet they claimed my friends were the cause of all my stress (like working there did wonders for me), claimed a hotel room for a Cydcor party was free (i paid for mine and a coworker who had no money), that things on a coworkers house walls were inappropriate for an owner and even that her personal answering machine message needed to be changed (she was very unhappy and later left as well) And dont get me started on his assistant manager Jonathan, i feel bad for the people who left with him to open his office because they got royally screwed from what i hear as well. I could say a lot more, but I think i'll just leave it at this.

Don't get me wrong, i met some nice people at comQuest, most have since quit, and some were fired for no reason (like one kid who was at a club and it got raided and he was taken to the precinct along with all the other partygoers - he was fired when Chris found out about it) and some of the people there that are close to management themselves are amazing people who i adore and will always love to death, but unlike their soon to be promoting manager, they handle themselves well and actually have good buisness etiquitte, and as i said before Brandie Rucks is also an amazing woman, and i learned alot form them all, good and bad. Unfortunately they just work for a horrible company that i feel i put just as much money into as i got out of. Dont give me any bs about not being good at what i did, because i was and i made loot, however i managed to screw people over and didnt realize it until later on.com Quest is bull and their ads on monster and career builder make me laugh. Tell us the morning meeting on Cortez again Chris!!! LMFAO

Oh, and funny thing - all the pictures of Chris with DSMAX plaques in his office yet nobody could tell me what DSMAX was, then we were TOLD not to tell days of O that we were a Cydcor office!
