I went to pay for gas yesterday using $5 in quarters and $5 in dimes. The clerk and I counted the change out. Well, he shoved a dime back at me and said he wouldn't accept because it wasn't an American coin. It happened to be a Canadian dime. I said it's a dime. He said again it's not American and I won't accept it. I said we accept them where I work and I've never heard of that policy before. He said lady, I don't know what your problem is; it's not American and I won't accept it. I gave him an "American" dime for that Canadian dime. Then he told me I was $. 20 short. I know that's not true because I work with money and I know how to count change. I'd counted the money several times before I put it in a baggie to take to the station. Well, needless to say, I won't be going back to that Fastop even though it is convenient to my place of employment. I really hope he is dealt with and discharged for his rude conduct. This happened Feb. 7 about 3pm.
