Prentending to be DDA
Consumer Report

I got a call from William White from Washington DC and he told me he was a Federal Detective. He said I ordered illegal drugs 5 years ago from Canada (which I did not). He told me that if I did not send him $1850 that in the morning two federal agents will be at my doorstep to take me to jail for 12 months. He scared the heck out of me. He told me that if I paid the fine the judge would dismiss the case. Being stupid I emptied my IRA, savings, checking and sent the money to Santo Dominigo (he said that was were the drugs were manufactured). So I wire transferred the money. He said he was going to see the judge right now to get my case dropped. He then called me back and said that the money came over in peso's and I needed to send another $1187. I hocked my jewelry and set the money. He said he was going to see the judge to get the case dropped. It was only until I got home that I realized what a dope I was. I have nothing now - no checking, IRA, savings and jewelry. I asked him if this was a scam and he told me if I didn't send the money I will be spending 12 months in jail starting the next day. I'm 60 - I should know better, but he was very very good.
