We purchased a 2012 hyundai elantra and the epa listed on car window stated a combined fuel economy of 33 mpg the car has 975 miles and to date we are only gettig 22.7 mpg. We were told to bring it to a dealer, which we did and they said there is nothing wrong with it and the mpg should improve in the future! We bought this car for our daughter, who pays for her gas. We purchased this car soley based on the stated gas milage as our daughter is a college student who works and pays for own gas! She is devasted with the milage and the cost of her gas! What can we do? Yours truly cheryl valente
