I upgraded mine and my mom's phones and we were delighted. But after a week we just wanted to send them back. I wanted to switch to a different carrier and she wanted to swnted to switch to a different carrier.
We mailed our phones back to T-Mobile since we were in our 14-day extension grace period. A few days later i received the package back containing my phone but not my mom's.
I called and asked T-Mobile about it and they said that the phone was damaged but i could not see any physical dmage done to the phone. Then I saw that the external LCD screen was cracked and bleeding.
I called T-Mobile and asked them how it got damaged and they suggested that it was probably UPS's fault so they filed a general complaint but that wasn't going to get me a settlement to pay for the phone because they had said that they wouldn't waive the charge of 127.99!!!
I called UPS to file and actual damage claim. Once I had done that I called T-Mobile to fill them in on the details of the claim and they filed a handset research form. After weeks of research (I've been at this for about a month) they said that they couldn't do anything and that even though the person who received the damaged packege was to file a claim they could not be held responsible and I would have to pay for the phone.
