They appeared on my computer, disguised as Licensed by Microsoft XP home security.
They also went under the radar on my home networks suppliers firewall that is supposed to avoid these scams.
They also offered some sort of scan on to x-ray my harddrive and found a lot of things that simply must be cleaned out and fast.
Computer locked down, and the only way out was to accept their offer.
I checked with colleagues and they knew that it was a hoaks.
And told me what to do to get it cleaned out. That i havent done yet, but computer is probably not cleaned out of trojans and other stuff that the program warns about.
That pisses me of more than the money, the program isn´t more than a cartoon that runs everytime I start my pc.
And its graphics looks like microsofts ordinary products. Mine is called safety shield or something like it.
