Applied for a Bad Credit loan. Marlene Dawson contacted me and told me I was approved and what the terms of the loan were. $6000.00 for 3 years at 9% interest with a payment of $181.66 per month. I said fax over the documents so I could review them. When she did I noticed they wanted $544.86 in advance for collateral and that the first payment wouldn't be due for 3 months. Considering the rate and I hadn't been approved elsewhere I accepted the terms. Was told to western union the money to a Paul Mitchell in Kingston Jamaica. When I questioned what company he represented she told me he was a private investor they worked with for 5 years. She went on to say she would guarantee the money would be in my account in half hour to 45 mins. I went ahead with the transaction because I needed to buy a car. After two and half hours and no money Marlene called me back to tell me there was an issue she was trying to rectify with the insurance company. They had done an individual assessment on my credit and was deeming me unqualified unless I sent another 3 months. I told her I already sent all I had. She offered if I sent $300 she would pay the other $244 and guaranteed the loan would fund. I told her no and then she proceeded to tell me that I couldn't get my money back for 30 days. I had sent her all my bank info so I had to cancel my account and redo all my direct deposits and bill pays. I told her it was larceny and a felony with the Federal Trade Laws and I am a Federal DoD civilian and am filing suit. She didn't care less. Please don't fall for these people. I am a single mother without a car soon as mine is ready to bite the dust. I serve my country proudly in the Air National guard and to think a company in America would do this to its fellow countrymen is disgusting!
