We came across Bluehill Financial on the internet. We were looking for a loan. We don't have good credit so when they called us a few days after applied and told us we were approved, we started to think it over. They emailed us a packet of papers and said to sign the promissory note, send a copy of driver's license, ss and paycheck stub and fax it back.
In order for the bank to fund our loan, we have to pay the collateral payment of 1850.00 in order to receive the 15,000 loan as we did not have good credit. We we explained we didn't gave 1850.00 lying around, David Arcelle, our agent, informed us about the partial payment plan where we could pay half and then the other half would come off the loan. Also, if we paid six months of payments on time, we would get the collateral payment back plus be given a credit card from them.
We sent the first payment via western union to Canada and after not receiving the loan, we were then informed by customer service that the bank would not fund the loan until the other half of the collateral payment was made as we weren't accepted on the PPP due to our credit situation. We asked for a refund and they said it would take several weeks. His name was Aaron.
Bluehill Financial even sent us an email stating that upon the other half of the collateral payment, we were guaranteed the loan of 15,000 and that it would one to two hours via wire transfer to receive the loan. They answered all our questions. Well, on the day before we were to make the other payment, we couldn't reach them.
They called the morning of the payment day and said sorry, they were working on getting more extensions put in and gave us the info. Needless to say, we sent the payment and never got the loan. They answered the phone after repeated calls and said it was being worked on. After a few hours, they wouldn't take our calls and then the phone stopped working with, Thank you. Good-bye."
We notified BBB in New York and are going to notify all the proper authorities. Stay away from Bluehill Financial. They are as big a scam as you can come across!!!
