I ordered the 30 day trial from pei carlton sheets for $10. When i got it, i never got the chance to really open the box and looked at it. Before the 30 day was up, i had no choice but to open the box to get the phone number so i can call to obtain my confirmation number.
So i sent it out through postal service, and just last night (6/17/04) i went over my visa statement and found that i was being charged by pei carlton sheets.
I called the toll free number this morning, and they claimed the box were check twice by the two checking stations and all of the most expensive items were not in the box. They found my confirmation number in there but not the video tapes and the dvd roms.
The customer service personal told me that it's my fault for not insuring the box/package that i sent back. So therefore i have to pay for the everything costing me $500 somewhat dollars. This is very skeptical. I used the postal service a lot and never had any problem with them. The only time i insure a mail is when it's very important that only that certain individual receives it. I'm very upset and need help to cracked down on there dihonesty.
