Michael Thornton, 41, of Union City, pleaded guilty Thursday in federal court to tax fraud, admitting he prepared numerous returns using fraudulent and misleading information. The deception included inflating incomes and lying about deductions to obtain higher refunds. THORNTON is also the owner - operator of a corrupt Collection Agency in Georgia who uses Threats, Scams, Illegal Tactics, fake Warrants to intimidate the public into paying BOGUS bills. They are neither Attorneys, nor Invesigators... But corruption at its highest level. These con artist whjo are employede at his company have complaint after complaint after complaint. These thieves, crooks, malcontents and wannabees can't do a DAMN THING to you. Their threats are as worthless as they are. These morons under NO CIRCUMSTANCES can bring any charges against you... Absolutly none. They are gog feces of the worse order. We checked, they hold no investyigators licenses. They threaten you with an ARREST or claim of going to get a WARRANT. "This fraudster guaranteed large returns without seeing any information, filed returns without showing them to the taxpayers, failed to identify himself as the preparer on the returns, and had refund checks deposited in his personal bank account, all as part of a scheme to steal hundreds of thousands in illegitimate tax refunds, said U.S. Attorney Sally Quillian Yates.
For the 2005 and 2006 tax years, Thornton filed more than 340 bogus returns, claiming $1.8 million in false items and cheating the government out of nearly $320,000, federal authorities say. He charged between $150 and $650 for each return.
Thornton, who will be sentenced Sept. 6, faces a possible maximum sentence of three years in prison and a fine of up to $100,000.

Even if you took a LOAN out from a payday Service, a BANK, or any legal entity, they have to bring you to a CIVIL TRIAL. Then, if you lose they can get a JUDGMENT. They have no right under State and FEDERAL LAW to ARREST you on a old bill. Msybe in the CONGO, but not here in the USA.
It's a way to worry you and if you are " that STUPID to pay a bill like this... Then you deserve to be freightened to death. They have NO LEGAL RIGHTS to even state in a telephone conversation they have or will get a WARRANT. That they have no authority. They are NOT Attorneys, hold NO LICENSES as Investigators, and... We know that any Collection Agency must Bond & Insure their Collectors. We found NO RECORD of any BONDING COMPANY Bonding their employees. That alone can get them shut down. No... These Morons are working out of a house or a boiler room environment. Should they call you... The Georgia Law says you can record the converasation. Georgia is one State that you do not need dual permission to record a telephone conversation.
In addition... Contact The Federal Trade Commission (COMPLAINT).. As well as The County District Attorney. Then, file a complaint with The State Attorney General. Then file another complaint with The Department of Financial Regulations in Atlanta, Georgia. Then, File another complaint with The Secretatry of State Division of Corporations. When you get those letters out, you are to contact your local Sherriff and or Police Department in your County and get an Officer to come out and take a written report. Do not let them tell you they can " not ". It is your right to file a complaint, which will be used later on in a Class Action Suit, and in complaints being filed with The Attorney General's Office in Atlanta, and The County District Attorneys Office, as well as the other County Authorities. If they are calling you from out of State, nowe it becomes a FEDERAL issue.
