On 12/26 I sent an email to Justin Chance about an 1987 BMW 635csi L6. My question was very simple does the A/C work; he sent me an email stating that the air condition was in good condition and work fine. On 12/31 I sent another email to Justin Chance if he would stand behind this car and give his word that the car was in excellent mechanical condition, and drove great and was reliable. He responded by email that it was. I also spoke that same day to Justin and he again stated what he wrote in the Email. The car was advertised on US Auto ltd, Pampano bch, Florida 33064, website, on EBay it was also advertised with this car lot. All documents, phone numbers, paperwork was form this former mentioned website. When I called to talk to someone about the car the phone was answered by US Auto LTD.
The BMW was advertised on US Auto LTD website and this is straight from the website “Well maintained with books and records. The interior was redone and looks like new. Runs and drives great with no mechanical issues. Must see to appreciate. Low cost shipping, extended warranty available.“ All of this is a lie, I believe the car was underwater, I believe it was maliciously sold to me, I believe Justin and Roza the car sales people knew this car was in bad shape and did not tell truth intentionally to sell the vehicle.
On 1/16 I received the vehicle after paying 725.0 dollars for shipping. The truck driver from Prestige Auto Transport informed me that the vehicle was dead when he picked up and that it needs a jump. After jumping vehicle I drove the car less than 1 mile I immediately noticed the car would not shift out of 1st gear, and the power steering was making loud whirring noise. That was the last time the car was driven or able to move. I purchased a new car battery and when I went to install it I was appalled by what I saw! Rusted fan, rotted engine hose, loose and torn wires, no fluids, no coolant, and worst of all the transmission light stayed turned on. How could this be in good mechanical condition if the transmission light was on, how could it run and drive great with no fluids, none of the electronics work, which in the advertisement and emails and Justin word on phone it all worked. The rust underneath is so bad the front bumper is falling off.
On 1/17 I called I tried calling Roza as I did all day on the day I received the vehicle. I sent her emails of the pictures of the vehicle; magically her email was no good so I had to send them to another associate at the dealership named Josh email. I called at 14:26 hrs. On 1/17 and spoke to manager of Us Auto ltd (according to him he was manager) and he told me that the car was on consignment and he was not responsible. I reiterated that it was on US Auto website and their eBay. He screamed at me and told me in his words “Excuse me, Excuse me but it’s not my problem and I cannot help you even if it was sold on my lot.” It is not my fault a bad seller was on his lot with a bad vehicle but it is his lot and he is responsible.
On 1/20 I again called Roza and she acted like she couldn’t remember the problem, and said she could not get in touch with Justin Chance. I contacted EBay’s Vehicle Protection Program, I contacted the Florida BBB, and now the local BBB. I want my money back or the total vehicle repaired as advertised.
Again I repeat I believe the car was intentionally sold in bad condition beyond and over 4 thousand dollars in repair. I believe that the car had at one time been submerged in water; the owner’s manual is old and has been wet that the pages cannot be separated at all and the book is very stiff. I believe they knew the transmission was bad, the engine was rotted, the fluids were empty the wires were corroded, the brakes rusted together. I believe they misled any buyer with false information, I believe they have not reported any known damaged of the vehicle. Roza also told me on 1/17 that it was impossible for the car to be in bad shape because the car was never running as long as it was on the lot. Her words exactly were “That’s impossible because the car was never running.” This was of course told to me after I had received the car. I was never offered any warranty at all.
