False advertising on EBay! Didn't stand behind their claims!

I found a 2006 Dodge Diesel on EBay listed by Texas Auto Liquidators. Since they were local I went to look at the truck, test drove it and found a few seamingly minor problems. I agreed to purchase the truck and they agreed to repair the problems (Antenna broken and steering seemed really stiff).

I payed for the vehicle without going through EBay (first mistake). Although never thought about it until the transaction was complete.

I picked the truck up the end of the following day and took it directly to the carwash since they didn't make time to wash it before I got there. Much to my surprise the front windshield leaked up above the compass area so bad that I had water pouring out of the headliner area. I turned right around and took the truck back to them. They agree to make the repair... Unfortunately their idea of a repair was to us caulking around an already install windsheild... I wouldn't let them do it. The next day I took it to a windsheild repair shop and they told me the only way to repair it correctly was to replace it. I had it done at a cost of $226...

After the windshield replacement I took it to have the front end realigned. After there steering repair the steering wheel was way out of alignment. The alignment shop informed me the the front had two different diameter tires and that they couldn't make repairs until the tires where the same size... Easy enough... I'll put the spare on... NOPE, that wouldn't work either since the spare had wires from the raidial sticking out of the corners (EBay claimed the tires to be in "GOOD" condition. So, I purchased two tires that matched and used the correct size tire from the front for a spare. $424...

Front end alignment went well...$68

The same following day I stopped for fuel. When I finished fueling up, got back into the truck and went to take off... The truck wouldn't go. After raising the RPMs to about 1500 it took off. The problem is intermittent. I took it to the transmission shop and they quoted me $1500 for a rebuild. Since the truck was advertised on EBay with a "bumper to bumper" warranty I would just have the Dodge Dealership make the repairs... Guess what! No "BUMPER TO BUMPER" warranty. Surprise Surprise!

I sent an email to Lynn at Texas Auto Liquidators and she responded telling me to contact George. After 3 attempts to get a response from George, he finally tells me that it was an honest mistake that I could take it to "his" transmission shop for repair. I informed him that based on my experience thus far I think it's in my best interest to have the Dodge dealership do the repair work.

George wasn't having anything to with that response and quickly told me that he wasn't going to warranty or stand behind anything on the vehicle from that point forward.

Just beware of the folks at Texas Auto Liquidators! I know I'll never do business with them again... Secondly, I live in their area so I'll be sure to spread the word.
