I applied for the free trial. The company told me I would receive the pills by 4th January, but they did not arrive until 13th January. Then I noticed that £57 was pending from my account and had heard on the local radio of a similar scam. I spoke to leanslim, who reassured me they would cancel my agreement with them. I explained I had only just received the free sample and could not afford this amount. I went into my bank who said this amount was authorised but not taken yet by leanslim, but they could do nothing. The next day, my pills arrived and my account was debited.
I then receive an email from leanslim, which says no more payments will be taken out, but almost threatened that if I tried to get any payment returned they would fight it vigorously and I would not win!
I intend to fight through my bank, but please do not let this company get hold of your bank details.
