Please take note of this complaint.netspend ACE is horrible when it comes to fraudulent activity. My account was 89.00 and last night a total of 7 transactions occurred within a half hour span causing my balance to become zero. All of these transactions occurred from a retailer in India. Mind you I live in Ohio. I called netspend and was told by the customer rep to contact the retailer for faster service to dispute the charges. I told the rep i dont know who the hell these people are making the charges so how can i contact them. Then i was told a investigation would need to be launched and may take up to two weeks. So then I asked to speak to supervisor who basically fed me the same bologna that her rep gave me. I have had great experiences with this company up until this point. If internet fraud was not such a major issue I wouldnt have anything negative to say about netspend. However since fraud is such a big issue, I no longer have faith in this company and will deposit my money in a local bank. Many local banks give you the benefit of the doubt and deposit the money back into your account as they investigate the fraud.
