I sold 138 cds valued by Cashbee.co.uk at £349.39
The CDs were collected on 07/09 by City Link, received by Cashbee on 08/09.
Received text message from Cashbee stating Cds had been checked / stocked on 10/09 and that payment would be received by 22/09.
Payment was not received, contacted cashbee and was told funds would be received on 30/09. Still not received, made contact again (via email) was told that the Cds were being destroyed unless I collected them as the new terms & conditions state that duplicate Cds are destroyed. I checked the updated terms & conditions and it states 'Cashbee reserve the right to monkey around with website and terms & conditions without notice'.
I contacted Consumer Direct, and was advised that I am bound to the original terms & conditions unless I agreed to any changes (which I didn't!).
I eventually agreed with Sarah from Cashbee that the Cds would be collected at my own cost either Wednesday 26/10 or Thursday 27/10. City Link was booked to collect the Cds for 9am on 27/10. I checked the delivery status that evening and the Cds werent loaded because 'they were not ready'.
Contacted Cashbee on 02/11 incase delivery was being rearranged by them and asked what was going on and when could I rebook the courier if they were not ready.
Received no reply.
Contacted Cashbee again on 15/11 asking what was going on and that I wanted to collect my Cds back. I got a reply the same day 'pointing out' that the terms and conditions state that duplicate Cds will be detroyed. No explanation for failure to return them. I replied with their original agreement for me to collect them and havent had a reply since.
